Lämmittele itsesi festivaalikuntoon intiimissä ilmapiirissä esityksistä nauttien ja burleskilegenda Satan´s Angelin tarinoita kuunnellen. Satan´s Angelin ainutlaatuinen n. tunnin mittainen Storytelling sisältää kuvitettua burleskin historiaa legendan persoonallisella tyylillä kerrottuna. Hän tuo näytille mm. yhden burleskihistorian kuuluisamman esiintymisasujen tekijän Hedy Jo Starin Angelille tekemän asun!

Helsinki Burlesque Festival työpajat: Kaikien pajojen ilmottautmisaikaa on pidennetty 10.2 asti! All workshops have extended the time of sign ups until 10.12!
Kaikki pajat ovat burleskin huippuammattilaisten pitämiä pajoja. Suurin osa pajoista on kaikille avoimia, ja niihin voit tulla vaikka et olisikaan aikaisemmin esiintynyt, tanssinut tai kokeillut burleskia. Pajat on merkitty 1 taso ja 2 tasolla jolloin 1 taso on kaikille avoin ja 2 taso jo ennen esiintyneille.
All workshops are held by the Iron Chefs of Burlesque, superprofessionals of their field. Most workshops suite everyone. They are marked level 1 and level 2, level 1 you do not need previous experience and level 2 you need to have performed at least one year.
All workshops should be paid in advance, only a paid workshop is a confirmed one. If you cancel later that 1 week before the workshop we will not refund your money.
Kaikki pajat on maksettava etukäteen, vain maksettu paja on varmistettu paikka. Mikäli perut pajan myöhemmin kuin viikkoa ennen emme maksa pajamaksua sinulle takaisin.

-Classic striptease artist and singer Sydni Deveraux hails from Seattle, Washington. She has performed internationally and in such acclaimed shows such as The New Orleans Burlesque Festival, Amsterdam Burlesque Festival, The Slipper Room, Moisture Festival, Seattle Erotic Arts Festival, Seattle international film festival, Tease-o-Rama and of course-the “superbowl of burlesque”-Exotic World (also known as) The Burlesque Hall of Fame.
Miss Deveraux has performed in shows that have also featured Catherine D’Lish, Dirty Martini, Michelle L’amour, Tigger!, Lily Verlaine, Waxie Moon, Roxi D’Lite and the REIGNING Burlesque Hall of Fame’s (2011) Queen Of Burlesque- Miss Indigo Blue!
With beautiful exotic features, and at a statuesque and very leggy 6’2″, she is one of the tallest established performers in the business. Sydni’s charming performance style is an entertaining mix of wit, finesse and sophisticated musicality.
“The Golden Glamazon” is a trained jazz singer, host, teacher of performance and burlesque privately and through Miss Indigo Blue’s Academy Of Burlesque. As a producer of over 100 successful shows over the last few years- including Seattle’s longest running weekly review with a rotating cast “Burlesque Behind the Pink Door” (in The historic Pike Place Market)-Sydni Deveraux has been a fixture in the burlesque community for over 6 years.-

Women in the Golden Age of Burlesque refined teasing to an art – the art of strip-tease! This workshop includes historical examples of Burlesque legends and exercises to practice the skills they developed. In this introductory class, students are empowered to explore and discover their own inner tease-artiste in a safe and friendly environment. Gloves and boas are provided, no dancing or dance skill required. Learn the who and what of the how and why! Open to all levels, no previous experience required. Can be 1 or 2 hours. 1st hour is history, with examples of legendary burlesque performers (seated). 2nd hour is exercises for facial expressions and “connecting” with the audience, using gloves and boas as props (standing). Max 24 students. Wear comfortable clothes.

In this intermediate/advanced level class, students will expand on their existing Burlesque characters and personae. Students will exaggerate, expand, and develop their presentation as well as learn techniques for increased stage presence. Please have a stage name, and have performed for at least one year. Wear comfortable clothes, and bring one or more items that represent the character (seated, standing, some movement). klo 18.15 – 20.15 ( max. 12 students )
